I spent a lot of time as voice over in the studio dubbing dubious B movies which were nonetheless a lot of fun. Can anyone say Ice-T :) Also had a great performance with William again at Hostos. The first of a series of four spanning the roots of Puerto Rican music. This was featuring the Jibaro music and along with Afro-Rican Jazz, Grupo Mapeye from Puerto Rico with whom we went on a little tour to Buffalo the days following. The concert was a live CD/DVD taping available early next year. Speaking of which Bomba Sinfonica was released by Albany Records (see April).
in September
went on vacation ... Yes! Then worked with a very fine actress and singer from Germany Micaela Leon on her new Show "Tranceatlantic". Went to DC and other places with my favourite Swiss singer Beat Kaestli.
in August
was Oz month I played with Kaye Tuckermann at the Spiegeltent and then came back to see my old friend Patrick Leonard with Seven Fingers and their absolutely brilliant production "La Vie" and played in Absynthe with the great clown Nate Cooper. Also did an Oz event at the Rose and to finally play with an Oz crooner Jonathan Glickfeld. I love that circus atmosphere.
in July
we had some nice outdoor concerts with Afro-Rican Jazz, played with Ljova and participated in a couple of recordings among them a Heineken commercial which sadly has not aired ... there goes that bubble

Went to Germany for the Frankfurt Musik Messe. What a zoo it was. I heard a lot of great players saw cool new devices and met friends I hadn't seen in years.
Recording with Ljova (www.ljova.com) for a new soundtrack. He is a great writer and his odd meter Tango sounds very fresh.

Bangalore Breakdown was born. It used o be just Premik and myself but then we went in the studio and gave a name to the musical adventure. We still have to edit it all and do another session, but it'll be finished before the summer.
January
I was involved in an original musical at Manhattanville College by Carman Moore.
